Spotify Social

As a jam-band-fan-turned-raver, Spotify was a dream client. Over the course of four years, I worked with client teams across Strategy, Brand, and Product Marketing to create original content and translate campaigns to social.

Original Content

In my first week at Byte, I was asked to shoot an original video with Danny Brown. That kickstarted a wave of opportunities with talent including The Bodega Boys, the crew from Last Podcast on the Left.

The work was part of an initiative to build a content engine that would editorialize Spotify’s feeds. All together, our efforts increased engagement by a total of 5%.

Wrapped

I got to lead the social extension of Spotify’s Wrapped campaign for three years running.

Every year I worked directly with Spotify’s Brand Strategists to develop a social strategy and content ideas for the global toolkit. I then produced all of the content for the North America market.
